Arjun, Shraddha dance Bollywood style on New York street
After wrapping up Delhi schedule, the team of ‘Half Girlfriend’ starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, is currently shooting in New York. The film is a screen adaptation of celebrity author Chetan Bhagat’s coming-of-age novel of the same name and is being co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and the writer himself.
‘Half Girlfriend’ has become the first Bollywood film to be shot at the United Nations. The interesting piece of information was shared by Chetan on his Twitter handle.
“In #HalfGirlfriend, Madhav works at UN. Hence, today #halfgirlfriend becomes first Indian movie ever to be shot at @UN!” the author tweeted.
The lead character of Madhav Jha, played by Arjun in the film, works at the United Nations and runs on the streets of New York City to find his lady love Ria Somani whose role is played by Shraddha. The team is currently filming those portions in NYC.
Both Arjun and Shraddha seemed to be having a blast on their NYC Scheduled. The danced Bollywood style on the streets of Times Square and shared stills of them dancing on their respective social media pages.
Arjun said that he has ticked off dancing Bollywood style on New York streets from his bucket list. “One thing knocked off my bucket list, bringing the Bollywood song dance raita to Times Square !!! @shraddhakapoor,” the ‘Gunday’ actor tweeted.
Sharing the picture of their dancing, the ‘Baaghi’ actress wrote, “Times Square mein desi dance!!!#HalfGirlfriend @mohit11481 @arjunk26 #OnlyInNYC.”
'Half Girlfriend' is being directed by Mohit Suri who has earlier directed Shraddha in ‘Aashiqui 2' and 'Ek Villain'.
