Anurag Basu remarks 'Big B should retire'

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is himself an institution. He has been in this industry for more than a decade now and still performing creditably. Filmmakers have suitable scripts for him and he too is there for them to perform and give his best.  But everybody does not carry the same feeling in heart. Recently, Anurag Basu had made a shocking comment about Mr. Bachchan that he should retire now.

He remarked, "I think the whole magic of Amitji has gone. He should gracefully retire now." What made Anurag to make such a harsh comment against Amitabh is not known but it is clearly understood that they share a bitter relationship. Anurag feels that as far as acting is concerned, Amitabh has lost his charm, his acting is very mechanical and there is no life in it. Amitabh too countered him back.

At this age also he daringly performs any tough scenes. He has the power and capability to compete any actor of the present generation. His demand graph never goes down. Amitabh’s two films Bhootnath where he is playing the role of a spirit and Ramgopal Varma’s Sarkar Raj are lined up for release.
