Anu clarifies on 'M.S.K.' controversy
Composer Anu Malik is upset over the recent news published in a section of the press that he has been ousted from Sajid Nadiadwala's MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, being directed by David Dhawan...
...Clarifies Anu, “I've always shared a great rapport with Sajid. We've done fantastic work in JUDWAA and HAR DIL JO PYAR KAREGA. Being a close friend, he couldn't think of anyone but me when he started MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI. I wholeheartedly accepted the film and composed the first song that both Sajid and [director] David Dhawan loved.
“But after a while I felt that I wasn't getting the positive vibes that I had got during the making of his [Sajid] earlier two films. Hence, I called him up and explained to him that something is missing this time and I requested him to relieve me from the contract. Even though he hesitated, I convinced him to do so for the betterment of the project.
“I still share a great rapport with Sajid, David and Salman and I wish them luck for MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI. But contrary to reports about my misunderstanding with Sajid, I'd like to clarify that there is nothing of that sort. Had that been so, Sajid wouldn't have retained the first song that I have recorded for the film. I am looking forward to working with Sajid on his other projects.”
