Amitabh to become grandfather

In 40 years of his filmy career, Amitabh Bachchan has portrayed different characters but it is the first time that he has sign a project where he will play beta Abhishek’s grandfather. It is Rakeysh Mehra's forthcoming film Dilli 6 where Abhishek is playing the main protagonist and opposite him will be Saawariya gal Sonam Kapoor. Confirming the news, Big B says, "I play Abhishek's grandfather in Dilli 6."

After a long gap, Amitabh will again get to share screen space with the actress whom he adores a lot, his past co-star Waheeda Rehman. She has also an important part to play in Dilli 6. Amitabh had earlier worked with Rakeysh Mehra in Aks which unfortunately did not fare well.

Mehra has thought of another project titled Paanch Kaurav with Amitabh but he is hesitant to speak about it right now as it is in the embryonic stage. He is also planning Bhairavi with the four members of the Bachchan family.
