Amitabh throws a surprise party to Jodhaa Akbar crew

The screening of Jodhaa Akbar was a star studded affair. Hrithik Roshan with his wife Suzanne, Aishwarya with husband Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and many other film fraternities attended to witness the screening of Ashutosh Gowarikers’s outstanding mythological film Jodhaa Akbar.  It was a great day for the Bachchans because after Ash-Abhi wedding, Jodhaa Akbar is the first film of their loving bahu Aishwarya that will hit the silver screen. On the spur of the moment, Amitabh made an announcement of a surprise bash. 

The Bachchans were overwhelmed with the awesome work of the cast and the crew. To express his happiness and generosity, he throws this surprise party at J W Marriot. Ashutosh Gowadiker his wife Sunita and all the members of the Jodhaa Akbar were invited. Amitabh and Abhishek are very much happy with the splendid response of the film and soon after the premiere they asked the cast to join in at the celebration. Cake was cut and champagne was popped to mark the carnival.  

Through the film had experienced antipathy from the Rajput community in Rajasthan but still it is viewed by a large mass in other parts of India.   Simultaneously it was released overseas. The film got a good response all over the world. The curiosity and excitement among the cine-goers is immeasurable because after Dhoom 2 they again got to taste the chemistry of Ash-Hrithik.
