Amitabh joins hand with Anil Ambani

Reliance head honcho, Anil Ambani is going to expand his entertainment umpire. With an aim to produce more and more Bollywood films, he has joined hand with superstar of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan. He has also zeroed upon couple of Hollywood projects and recently ties up with Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks SKG.

Last year, when Amitabh was asked about his plans to get into joint production with Anil Ambani, he refuted but a year later, he indeed planned to shape it up.  Reputed directors like Chandraprakash Dwivedi, Rohan Sippy, Sujoy Ghosh and R Balakrishnan have been signed to work under their banner. At present, Reliance Entertainment has 69 Indian films and approximately 30 Hollywood films to be produced under their banner and couple of films do have Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan.

Chairman Amit Khanna says, "To begin with, we will be looking at making four - five films with AB Corp. We value our relationship with the Bachchan family immensely. The creativity of the Bachchan family combined with our business acumen will create a win –win situation for all".
