Amitabh Bachchan to sing in ‘Shamitabh’

After ‘Paa’, Cheeni Kum’, megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all set to lend his voice again in R.Balki’s next titled, ‘Shamitabh’. Big B took to twitter to announce the news. "Balki and `Shamitabh` meet... Got to sing another song ..Aarrrgghh !! I am hopeless at this... But guess will have to do it!!," Bachchan tweeted.

The 71-year-old  sang `Baatein Hawaa Hai` in `Cheeni Kum` and `Mere Paa` in `Paa` but the song of ‘Shamitabh’ is not yet revealed.

In the past, the megastar had crooned for `Silsila` (Rang Barse) , `Baghban` (Main Yahan Tu Wahan), `Laawaris` (Mere Angne Main), `Bol Bachchan`, `Kahaani` (Ekla Chalo Re) among others.

The film also stars south sensation Dhanush and Kamal Hassan’s younger daughter Akshara Hassan. The film marks the debut venture of Akshara.

Big B sports a rustic look, partly covered his face with grey hair in R. Balki’s forthcoming film, ‘Shamitabh’. Amitabh has been experimenting with his looks over the years and very easily get into the character he plays on-screen. He was spotted shooting at Mumbai Lokhandwala Gardens on May 31.

"We are half way through shoot of the film... Once we finish the film, we can talk more about it. Right now I am enjoying watching lethal combination of the intensity of Amitabh Bachchan, intelligence of Dhanush and innocence of Akshara (actor Kamal Haasan's daughter) in action, daily," Balki said.

‘Shamitabh’ is slated to release in 2015.
