Amitabh Bachchan reshoots for ‘Sarkar 3’, undergoes makeover

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sarkar 3’, which has been scheduled to hit theatres on May 12. But ahead of the release, Big B has been reshooting some scenes of the upcoming political thriller.

The 74-year-old actor shared a few pictures on Twitter from the sets in which he is seen sporting an altogether different look from that of his character Subhash Nagre, who is usually seen in black kurta-pyjama. The new pictures have Big wearing a black leather jacket and pants.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted with the pictures by writing, "Reshoot in progress: After long hours of debate and discussion RGV & I decided to change the look of SARKAR 3! Jus' kidding!" In another tweet, he added, "You shall be hearing of this pretty soon!"

One of the pictures has Big B sitting on a bench with an intense look, while another one has him having a serious conversation with the director.

‘Sarkar 3’ is the third film in the ‘Sarkar’ franchise after the 2005 film ‘Sarkar’, followed by ‘Sarkar Raj’ in 2008. The third film in the series carries forward the story of Big B’s character Subhash Nagre after the death of both his sons Vishnu (Kay Kay Menon) and Shankar (Abhishek Bachchan).

The film also stars Rohini Hattangadi, who reprises her role from the previous films, and features new entrants Amit Sadh, Yami Gautam, Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpayee and Ronit Roy.
