Amitabh Bachchan is back and working

The film industry and thousands of his fans across the world are finally relieved and happy to see their hero back in action. Amitabh Bachchan has decided to gradually get back to work after his surgery and recuperation. The Senior Bachchan has decided to start off in a light manner and then gradually complete all his projects on hand.
Mr. Bachchan has recently done a song recording with Aadesh Sirvastava for Ravi Chopra’s movie, Babul. This is his first assignment since his illness, and he decided to start off with this song. Bachchan Senior recorded two numbers for this film at Srivastava’s new studio, AV sound on February 19th and 20th. One of the songs ‘Chalo Jashn Manaye’ is a hip-hop number written by Sameer and the other number is a sad slow one.

Aadesh Srivastava recently inaugurated his new recording studio on February 18th and was hoping that he could start off with Big B recording a song for him, Big B consented and the song was recorded the very next day. Srivastava adds that even though Big B has just recovered from his illness, he rendered the song with complete energy, verve and enthusiasm. He wants to make Amitabh sing at least three numbers in Babul. He has high regards for Amitabh’s singing skills and says that he gives expressions to songs that no one else can give. He is grateful and feels privileged that Amitabh has started out with his number.

Amitabh will also be doing a hip-hop song with Abhishek titled ‘A-B-H-I to the shakin’’, it’s for a private album that is produced by Rohan Sippy and has music by Vishal-Shekhar.

Amitabh currently has two movies on the floor, Kabhi Alvidaa Na Kehna and Babul. Most of his shooting for KANK is done and he only has to shoot a few scenes with Abhishek. Babul will require more time as their 20 day December shoot was canceled due to Amitabh’s illness. His other films in the pre production stage are Ram Gopal Varma’s Sholay, Sarkar 2 and Balkrishnan’s Cheeni Kam. He also wants to do his make up man, Deepak Sawant’s Bhojpuri film as it is a small film and he does not have extra finance.

Amitabh will initially start by dubbing for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Eklavya. He hopes to start full fledged shooting by the end of March. We wish Mr. Bachchan a speedy recovery so that his fans can see him in action once again.
