Amitabh Bachchan had fun on ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’
‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, is an every-growing popular television show hosted and produced by comedian Kapil Sharma. After a number of celebs appeared on the hour-long show, this time it is megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s who is ready to appear on the sets.
According to reports, the 71-year-old megastar will soon be seen on the programme to promote his upcoming film ‘Bhoothnath Returns’.
Big B reportedly posted on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com on Sunday, “There are going to be appearances on various TV shows — ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, ABP news, ‘Boogie Woogie’, Tarak Mehta (‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’) and on.”
“The ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ promotions now take up all my spare time and travel. There is much to be done and there are time constraints. Radio, television, print, channel shows, visits to cities, premieres,” he added.
‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ has already seen such superstars as Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan as guests.
It surely will be interesting to watch Big B with the crazy Sharma family.
‘Bhoothnath Returns’ is an upcoming horror comedy movie film directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced jointly by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ravi Chopra and co-produced by Ajay Kapoor. The movie is a sequel to the 2008 film ‘Bhoothnath’. The movie has Amitabh Bachchan in a lead role and features Boman Irani and Shahrukh Khan. ‘Bhoothnath Returns’ also stars National Award wining actress Usha Jhadav, and child actor Partho Baleroa. It has a brief appearance by Ranbir Kapoor as well.
The shooting of the film began on October 10, 2013 and is slated to hit theatres on April 11.
The movie tells the story of a ghost, played by Amitabh Bachchan, who comes to earth and forms a special bond with a child, played by Partho Baleroa.
Big B was also found mentioning on his blog that, “there is a mountain of film scripts” that need to be read and decided upon.
He also wrote that he was looking forward to “R. Balki’s rather unusual and exciting film with Dhanush and Akshara starting work next month, TV serial shooting in progress and we hope that it comes on soon, Shoojit Sarkar’s film ‘Piku’ with Deepika (Padukone) and Irrfan Khan, starting work by June-July, simultaneously starting preparations for ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’”.
Mr Bachchan also posted about his willingness to perform on stage on his father, Sri Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s work.
