Amitabh Bachchan feels nervous for R Balki’s next
After delivering hits such as ‘Cheeni Kam’ and ‘Paa’ with R Balki, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly revealed that he still gets butterflies in the stomach while shooting for his upcoming film with the director.
The 71-year-old actor began the filming of his new project in Goa on Sunday.
“First day shoot new project R Balki.. Nerves, apprehensions, discomfort, uncertainty, butterflies ! Only redemption, the director!,” Mr Bachchan, who won his third national award for ‘Paa’, was found posting on twitter.
The yet to be titled project will see Bachchan alongside Tamil actor-singer Dhanush and also Kamal Haasan’s younger daughter Akshara.
The ‘Black’ superstar, who reached Goa on Sunday morning, is likely to be seen in a new avatar for the movie.
“In the land of the sun and sea and see.. !! A new film, a new apprehension and right now ‘the look’ taking its toll!!,” he also tweeted.
The megastar, who is extremely active on the micro blogging site Twitter, was seen posting, “Tomorrow back to Mumbai and Tv serial shoot ... life is a shoot ! A shoot ? Yaaaaaaa ! Got a problem with that ? Naah, love it (sic) !!,”
A daily recently reported, that the actor was shooting with Sarika for his first TV soap being directed by Anurag Kashyap in Mumbai. According to reports, Mr Bachchan drove straight to the airport from the studio where he had been shooting over 50 promos for the upcoming edition of the TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ till the wee hours, and landed in Goa early on Sunday morning for R Balki’s untitled film and reported on the sets early morning as well.
Reports said the actor was back in Mumbai on Monday, and resumed the shoot for his TV programme. While Mr Bachchan is busy with his acting schedule, wife Jaya reportedly is on the campaign trail in North India.
Big B’s co-star from the film, Dhanush was also found posting on the micro blogging site about his first day at the shoot and the actor seemed very happy.
He posted, “My first day shoot with @SrBachchan sir. Will remain a very very very special day for me. #humble #simple #hard working. So happy :).”
The actor’s last release ‘Bhootnath Returns’ is doing quite well in the box-office.
In 2013, the legendary actor made his Hollywood debut with ‘The Great Gatsby’, in which he played a non-Indian Jewish character, Meyer.
