Akshay tops the taxpayers chart
Stunt king Akshay Kumar is delivering hit after hit. If current success record is analyzed then it is known that he has given maximum box office hits last year. With repeated success, Singh Is King became the highest taxpayers in India therefore left behind top other Bollywood actors like Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
Akki tops the taxpayers chart by paying tax of Rs 19 crore, Shahrukh comes second and paid tax of about Rs 15 crore. Hrithik paid Rs 8 crore and Aamir stood fourth by paying tax amount Rs 7 crore.
Last year Akshay had few releases like Namastey London, Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng and all of them accumulated good amount at the BO. With so many hits in a row, Akshay became the Box Office King. Ever since he stepped in Bollywood, he did not look back. He went on and on multiplying name, fame and money.
Singh is Kinng had a record opening in India and overseas. The film was one of the highest grosser in 2008.
Akki’s next release is Chandni Chowk To China starring Deepika Padukone in the lead role. The film is the highly awaited one and also said that it is inspired from the real life of Akshay.
