Though Deedar was offered first the movie that released first was Saugandh in 1991. In 1992 released the suspense thriller Khiladi. 1994 turned out to be a very successful year for him with back to back hits like “Main Khiladi and Tu Anari”, ”Mohra” and “Yeh Dillagi”.

Akshay is one of those actors who has tried his hand at different films in which he has depicted different characters. Films like “Dhadkan”, “Ek Rishtaa”,”Bewafaa”, “Waqt”, “Aakhen” have all been different.

However, one genre that he has mastered other than action is comedy. His comic-timing in films like “Garam Masala”, “Mujhse Shaadi Karoge”, “Aawara Paagal Deewana”, “Phir Hera Pheri”, Welcome, Heyy Baby and “Bhagam Bhag” have received accolades from the critics and the audiences.

Personal Life-

Akshay Kumar had an image of that of a Casanova. He has dated a number of his co-stars like Pooja Batra, Ayesha Jhulka, Raveena Tandon, and Shilpa Shetty. However, the one woman who was able to tame him was Twinkle Khanna with whom he eventually got married. The two are looked upon as a happy couple. They have a son named Aarav and are expecting their second child.
