Akshay Kumar shares first poster of ‘Crack’ – his next with Neeraj Pandey

After the recently released ‘Rustom’ produced by Neeraj Pandey, Akshay Kumar and the filmmaker have joined hands for yet another film titled ‘CRACK’. Neeraj had previously directed Akshay in ‘Special 26’ and ‘Baby’.

Akshay announced the news of their collaboration on social media and also shared the first look poster of ‘Crack’.

“Friends, I'm happy to share with you that after ‘Special 26’ and ‘Baby’, in 2017, I'm collaborating with Neeraj Pandey once again! This time, we come together for 'CRACK' - A Neeraj Pandey film. Releases Independence Day weekend 2017. Need your love and blessings,” the Khiladi of Bollywood wrote on Facebook and Twitter.

The first poste of ‘Crack’ shows a pair of spectacles with one glass cracked. It has a caption which reads, ‘Every storm has a rage, every rage has a story’. The poster also announces the release date of the movie to be on the occasion of Independence Day next year.

During a promotional event of ‘Rustom’ which released on August 12, Neeraj had mentioned that he has been so impressed with the Akshay’s work ethics that he hopes to do as many films with the ‘Airlift’ actor as possible.

Meanwhile, ‘Rustom’ has been doing great business at the box-office. It opened on 2317 screens across the domestic market amidst huge hype, promotion and expectations and became the fourth biggest Bollywood opener of 2016 by raking in Rs. 14.11 crore on the opening day.

Based on the true incident of the case of Naval Commander K. M. Nanavati versus the state of Maharashtra of 1959, the movie earned a weekend total of Rs. 50.42 crore. On Monday, i.e, day four, ‘Rustom’ collected around another 19. 5 crore (approx.) and has already earned Rs. 70 crore (approx.).
