Akshay Kumar gets doctorate degree

His contribution to the Hindi film industry is commendable. He is known as the Khiladi of Bollywood. Akshay Kumar is the No. 1 action hero of Bollywood and is known to perform any difficult stunts with ease. He gave four hits last year and made Rs. 500 crore profit at the box-office. Though he always misses Filmfare awards, Akshay has been honored with one of the most prestigious awards. He received doctorate degree from the Canadian University.  

He will be honored with the doctorate degree for his outstanding contribution to the Hindi film industry and for the social work that he has rendered to the people of Canada. "The University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, will bestow Akshay with an honorary doctorate on May 9. It's basically for all the social work that he has done in Canada. The University called him up to present him the doctorate," says Akshay's spokesperson.

In the past, Yash Chopra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Shilpa Shetty are honored with such type of doctorate degree from foreign universities. Akshay’s Sinngh Is Kinng is almost ready to hit the floor.
