The action hero Akshay Kumar had to face the heat of the Sikhs for his latest anticipated film Singh Is Kinng. The community raised an objection on Akshay’s looks and some sequences. According to them, those shortcomings are against their prestige. To clear the air of controversy, producer Vipul Shah had held a press conference which was attended by Akshay Kumar and the heads of the Sikh community.
"If I've made a mistake, lord forgive me and I will try to rectify my mistake," said Akshay on his apologetic message. He further said, "Lot of changes are done but thing which have been already shot cannot reset again." Filmmaker Vipul Shah’s verdict was, "We wanted to make sure that the community is happy with the film, that is why we went up to them and showed the film to them. There are some changes they expected us to make and we have done that." The objected scenes were re-shot to satisfy them. Reportedly, Akshay had consulted the head of the community before tying the turban as it is an important element of their culture and tradition and he did not want anything to go wrong. The makers are making all effort to release the film with full perfection.
