Akshay Kumar beats Shahrukh Khan

Big stars capturing small screen has become a trend. The stunt hero Akshay Kumar is again making his foray into TV with big bucks beating Shahrukh Khan. To host Fear Factor, Akki will get Rs. 1.5 crore per episode which is much higher in comparison to Shahrukh.

Akki will host a desi version of Fear Factor with Bollywood actresses as participants. First, he will perform some deadly stunts and then the participants’ will individually employ those dangerous stunts. The show will soon be aired by Sony. He will replace Mukul Dev who hosted the first season of the Fear Factor. Akshay on signing the show at a whopping price of Rs 1.5 crore per episode makes him to beat Shahrukh in Kya Aap Panchvi Paas Se Tej Hai? Apparently, Salman will also be hosting a reality show on Sony and will be paid a whopping Rs. 89 crore for 104 episodes of the show.

Hosting TV shows is not new to Akki. Four years ago, he had hosted a martial arts show titled 'Seven Deadly Arts' for National Geographic. The seven-part series took the viewers to an exotic journey into the world of martial arts.
