Aksar 2 teaser: Gautam Rode-Zareen Khan starrer warns of a trap

The 2006 thriller ‘Aksar’ starring Emraan Hashmi, Udita Goswami and Dino Morea, is coming up with a sequel featuring the handsome Gautam Rode and sultry Zareen Khan. The teaser of ‘Aksar 2’ has been released and it mentions about a trap.

The 15-second teaser does not feature any actor, but has the words ‘How often do you see the trap?’ flashing across the screen along with the sounds of typing. There is also a faint image of a target in the backdrop as the words play out. The background score with female vocal has an air of mystery, which makes the teaser intriguing.

Lead actor Gautam, who has made his Bollywood debut with the 2002 film ‘Annarth’, shared the teaser on his Twitter handle. "Coming soon #Aksar2 @ananthmahadevan @zareen_khan @Chirag_NB @sreesanth36 @tipsofficial @Mithoon11 @ashukla09 @vaarunbajaj @narenbajaj,” he tweeted along with the clip.

The 2006 film was known for the Himesh Reshammiya songs like ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’ and ‘Lagi Lagi’ etc., and the bold scenes between Emraan and Udita. Anant Mahadevan, who directed the film, is also helming the sequel which is also being produced by him.

‘Aksar 2’ also stars Mohit Madaan, Lillete Dubey and Abhinav Shukla. Former cricketer Sreesanth will also appear in the role of a lawyer, while Sofia Hayat will have an item dance.  

The makers have reportedly, roped in composers Mithoon and Sachin Gupta replacing Himesh from the original, in order to give a fresh approach to its music. A remixed version of the chartbuster ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’ might be included for in the movie for promotional purpose, reports suggest.
