Ajay in legal hassle
Smoking is banned in films as well as at all public places. Even after knowing about the strict rule, Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has broken the rule by smoking at Chandigarh airport. Ajay landed at the Chandigarh airport on Monday, lit a cigarette which came into notice. Ajay has been captured smoking a cigarette at the airport by a photo journalist.
"We have submitted a written complaint at the offices of senior superintendent of police and director of health services, Chandigarh. They have assured us of appropriate action against the actor after probe," chairperson of Burning Brain Society, Hemant Goswamy said.
Chandigarh became the first smoke-free city of India as it was officially declared on July 15, 2007. Bollywood stars are public figures; their every move leaves a great impression on others. But Ajay, by smoking at public places has not only violated the smoking ban rule but also polluted the atmosphere of the city and thereby sent a wrong message.
