Aishwarya leaves for Peru

Aishwarya wished to remain close to her father who has undergone chemotherapy recently but work is keeping her busy and in spite of her wish, she is unable to be with her ill father. She has to leave for Peru to shoot for Shankar’s Robot with Rajnikanth. She is helpless but had to for the sake of work. "I hardly got enough time to do the things that are really important to me like spend time with my parents, specially my father who's been very unwell. Barely was I back from The Unforgettable concert that I had to leave. That's the hard part of being who I am. The show always has to go on," quips Ash.

"Peru is a place I've never shot in before. I'd have liked to be with my parents more. But what to do? On Friday, Mani Ratnam flew in from Chennai. Mani discussed the film with me and Abhishek until late into the night. On Friday evening, I also had to drop in at my friend dress-designer Ana Singh's store opening. I had absolutely no time. But there was no way I could say no to her. So I've hardly slept. And now, here I am on a 22-hour flight to Peru," says Aishwarya while in transit in Dubai.

Ash has a huge fan following all over and she thanked her fans for all their good wishes that they had sent through phone calls and through messages for quick recovery of her ail father.
