Aishwarya may play Benazir

Aishwarya Bachchan at Sarkar Raj press meet in BangkokAishwarya Bachchan, the leading star of Bollywood is known for depiction of strong characters. Whether it is the role of a tortured wife in Provogue or depicting the role of CEO of an international company in Sarkar Raj or portraying the mythological character Jodhaa in Jodhaa Akbar, she tells every story with ease and flawlessly. She had walked on the sharp edge to prove her acting potential. Her beauty and talent is speechless and assessing those angles, she has been decided as one of the prime contenders of the role of Benazir, former Pakistani Prime Minister.

Apparently, UTV will produce the project and scriptwriter and lyricist Neelesh Misra who is known for writing the lyrics of the films like Jism, Johnny Gaddaar, Jannat and Sanjay Gupta’s Alibaug has been approached to write the script. Misra confirms, "I have been offered the project, but haven’t accepted it yet." Before moving ahead, the makers need to seek the permission of the Pakistani government and other officials and with this aim in mind they are planning to fly to Pakistan to meet Bhutto’s family and the Pakistani government.

Ash has been approached for the role as her personality matches to power and posture of Benazir Bhutto.
