Aishwarya to play a Kalari fighter in P.Vasu’s next
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is all set for her second innings in acting. After signing Mani Ratnam’s bilingual, she has again signed her second comeback film which is again a bilingual. She is taking more interest in South Indian films to make her comeback than Hindi cinema. Now she has been signed by the director of ‘Chandramukhi’ and ‘Chinna Thambi’, P.Vasu. In this Tamil-Telugu bilingual, Ash will enact the role of a Kalari fighter.
When P.Vasu narrated the script to the former beauty queen, she was highly impressed and showed keen interest to be a part of the film though she has not signed on the dotted line. For this special film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will undergo rigorous training.
"Aishwarya was really impressed with the script. She will be seen in a never seen before powerful role. She will essay a Kalari fighter in the film and for the same she will undergo special stunt training," Vasu said in a statement.
Vasu, who has been scripting the film for over two years, says the movie will be high on visual effects.
"Major visual effects companies are being considered. Animatronics expert from France are being hired for the visual effects in the film, which will be shot in exotic locales of North Indian and some important portions in Cambodia," he added.
Aishwarya suggested the maker to make the film in Tamil and Telugu as the concept will not work in Hindi. The film will be produced by K. Ramesh of Global One Studios.
Two top heroes are being considered for the male lead. The names will soon be announced.
However, Aishwarya is yet to announce her next film with Vasu.Vasu, has directed over 50 titles in two decades. He had directed the Hindi film ‘Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet’.
