Aishwarya Rai launches Coca Cola’s new ad campaign
Aishwarya who is already a brand ambassador for Coca Cola will be doing their new campaign called ‘Thande Ka Tadka.’ Ash will feature in the advertisement where she will be seen in a non-glamourous role. The ads will be aired in several parts of the country on March 26th, but is already being aired in Mumbai. Aamir Khan is also a brand ambassador for Coca-Cola and has done several humorous commercials for coke.
The concept of this ‘Thande Ka Tadka’ campaign has been conceptualized by adman Prasoon Joshi of McCann Erikson and the ad is directed by Abhijeet Chaudhry of Black Magic Productions. The ad reflects the newfound confidence of youth, of the country, it portrays wit and humour. In the Thande Ka Tadka ad, Ash is seen as a behenji (like a typical Indian girl) with a simple red salwar kameez and hair oiled and plaited. In the ad, Ash is seen giving eve-teasers a piece of her mind in a funny and witty manner through the art of whistling. She shows them the different kinds of whistles and with funny wisecracks, teaches them a lesson as well as embarrasses them.
Aishwarya manages to look pretty, even in this simple and modest attire. Her expressions, confidence and attitude leave viewers spellbound. Her one-liners leave you with a grin, giving a high five to the Thande Ka Tadka campaign. Ash manages to do what Aamir did in his Coca-Cola commercials; she is funny, witty, smart and pretty. This campaign will definitely give audiences a Tadka this summer.
