 Comes November, comes party time! With King Khan and Queen Rai, stepping into one more eventful year of their lives, bollywood serenades in fête.
While the media went all ga ga marking the birthday of Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai, the stars sincerely worked their way to one more promising year. While fans and well wishers back home celebrated and prayed for their beloved stars, Shahrukh and Aishwarya continued playing in front of the camera, in the US [New York] and Slovakia respectively.
King Khan turned Forty, on the 2nd day of November this year, but keeping in tandem with his exuberant spirit, he continued juggling with a lot many things. Not only he continued shooting for Karan Johar’s multi-starrer Kabhi Alvidaa Naa Kehnaa, but very appropriately made much out of the place and time he’s in. That is to pitch and promote his home production “Paheli”, India’s official entry to the Oscars, to the jury of the much-revered awards. While King Khan juggled with many a thing in New York, Queen Rai raised sword, riding horses in the beautiful terrain of Slovakia shooting for her international film, “The Last Legion”.
But like hard work always pays, the stars had their moments of bliss too. While Shahrukh had his ‘usual’ gang of stars to throw a surprise birthday bash, Aishwarya had her overwhelming moments when the unit of “The Last Legion” surprised her with a birthday – cum – diwali party. While Shahrukh entered his 40th year with family and friends like Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukherjee and Preity Zinta in the Big A, Aishwarya marked her 32nd year with the likes of Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley, her co-stars for “The Last Legion”.
Although away from home, and dear ones, the stars continued to twinkle. For sure, they know the mantra to an eventful life, “Work hard…rest will follow!”
