After Vidya Balan, Kangana opts out of Sujoy’s film

Kangana Ranaut who has stepped into Vidya Balan’s shoes in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Durga Rani Singh’, has reportedly walked out of the film. After the success of ‘Queen’, Kangana is moving slowly and she does not want to make any mistake by choosing a wrong script in hurry.

It is also reported that Sujoy has now approached Kareena Kapoor to play the role of a 35 year old mother to a 14 year old paralytic girl.

Kangana Ranaut has her hands full with promising project like Karan Johar’s Ungli, she will also be seen in Sai Kabir’s Divine Lovers. In addition to all this, Kangna Ranaut will also be producing and directing an English short film titled ‘The Touch’.

When contacted Sujoy of ‘Kahani’ fame is reluctant to speak about his film, “My apologies, but I am not talking about my film right now. Will definitely let you know as and when there is something.”

Vidya Balan walked out of the film due to health issue while Kangana has cited date issue to reject the film.

“Kangana last release, ‘Revolver Rani’ (2014), failed to show huge figures at the box office.  However, she doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake again.  Kangana opted out of Sujoy’s film citing date issues,” a source revealed.
