After ‘Quantico’ Priyanka Chopra to appear on ‘Project Runway’
Priyanka Chopra who ventured into American television with a lead role in the thriller series ‘Quantico’, is all set to appear on another TV show in the west. The actress who is currently shooting for the second season of her debut show will be seen in the season 15 of reality series ‘Project Runway’.
The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress will reportedly be a part of the fashion reality show as a celebrity guest. ‘Project Runway’ encourages new talent in the fashion industry and gives budding designers an opportunity to create a collection for New York Fashion Week.
Priyanka took to her Instagram page and announced the news. She shared a photograph of herself, along with the show’s host and supermodel Heidi Klum as well as its judges Nina Garcia of fashion magazine Marie Claire, designer Zac Posen and Georgina Chapman, founder of women'swear brand Marchesa. All of them are seen doing a ‘Namaste’ pose in the picture.
“Namaste!! On @projectrunway Coming soon...Project Runway Season 15, Sept 15th! @ninagarcia @zacposen @heidiklum @georginachapmanmarchesa #projectrunway,” Priyanka captioned the photograph.
Priyanka, who will also make her Hollywood debut with ‘Baywatch’ starring Dwayne Johnson, is extremely busy with ‘Quantico 2’ that she doesn’t have time for any other full-fledged project.
"My schedule is water-tight till March, 2017 as I am contractually bound to wrap up the second season of ‘Quantico’. It would be great if season three comes along as it's a progressive show, which airs in 200 territories worldwide. I get to interact with an audience that may have never known me through my feature films," the actress was quoted by a leading daily.
She further said, “I am not only saying no to Bollywood films. I have also turned down more than six Hollywood films. I am rejecting films across industries. I’m going to pick the best and do only one film from each side next year. Even that would mean pushing myself against time. But I’m a 70mm girl who can never give up Hindi films.”
