After Bollywood & Hollywood, Priyanka Chopra to appear in Marathi film
After conquering Bollywood and making a mark in Hollywood, international star Priyanka Chopra will make a special appearance in her Marathi production ‘Ventilator’ being directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. The actress made her debut as producer with Bhojpuri film ‘Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi’.
Before leaving for the US to begin shooting for the second season of her American thriller series ‘Quantico’, Priyanka completed shooting for her part in the film in a three-day schedule at a studio in Mumbai’s Versova.
Priyanka left for New York on July 4 with her mom Madhu Chopra and the ‘Quantico 2’ schedule will keep her busy till March 2017. She might be able to visit India only two or three times in between, but the multi-faceted star always keeps an eye on what goes on back home.
Talking about it to Mumbai Mirror, the actress said, “Ventilator directed by Rajesh Mapuskar has my name attached to it so I have to be comfortable with everything that’s happening. The crew back home teases me saying that US main baithe baithe I know everything that’s happening in Mumbai.”
She has also filmed a special Marathi song. “Life is transient and I am a creative person who constantly looks for new outlets. I have been writing a lot and I am producing films, I like to evolve in different directions,” Priyanka added.
‘Ventilator’ is Priyanka’s third production. Besides the Bhojpuri film, she has also produced a Punjabi film titled ‘Ek Onkar’.
Priyanka is in the US and already started filming for the second season of her much appreciated TV series ‘Quantico’.
She will debut in Hollywood with Dwayne Johnson starrer ‘Baywatch’ which will release in May next year.
