After Ajay Devgn, KRK gets into Twitter war with Remo D’Souza
The controversy involving Kamal Rashid Khan being paid to promote Karan Johar’s film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and tweet negative things about Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’ hasn’t reached its logical conclusion yet. But the self-proclaimed critic has already got involved in another Twitter war.
This time KRK has targeted choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza and the volley attacks came after a media article carried Remo’s statement on the ongoing ‘Shivaay’-‘ADHM’ fracas, saying that KRK shouldn’t be given much importance.
This irked the ‘Deshdrohi’ actor, who in a series of tweets said that Remo had requested him give good reviews to the latter’s recently released ‘A Flying Jatt’ and had asked him to take up the ‘Beat Pe Booty challenge’.
KRK tweeted, “Bro @remodsouza Apki aukat nahi mere khilaf action lene ki. U r the one who was requesting me to give good review of your crap film #FlyingJatt… U pple requested me to promote ur wahiyat #FlyingJatt and I did booty dance to oblige and now u idiot want to take action against me… Some Bollywood idiots like @remodsouza are trying to threaten me that whether I should do whatever they want me to do or they will finish me.”
However, he later deleted the tweets after Remo’s wife Lizelle came in defence of her husband and lashed out at KRK. Removing his posts against Remo, KRK wrote, “I deleted tweets about @remodsouza coz his wife told me that he has not said whatever printed by newspapers n he respects me as a critic.”
This is what Lizelle wrote in response to KRK’s tweets against Remo.
[email protected] has he abused you how can u just get up read something and abuse people this is totally wrong you can’t abuse people… Remo has been off Twitter since a week u blasted the film that’s your review we can’t stop did he message u once… and one more thing when did Remo ask you to write a good review Balaji made you sit in front so he came and met you… hello when and where has Remo threatened you what is wrong with you.”
The controversy began after Ajay release a taped telephonic conversation between KRK and the ‘Shivaay’ maker’s business associate, in which KRK is heard saying that Karan Johar paid his Rs 25 lakhs to praise ‘ADHM’ and write tweet comments about ‘Shivaay’. Ajay then issued a statement demanding an investigation to find the truth in the matter.
KRK then conducted a press conference and contradicted his words in the taped audio which has gone viral, and instead claimed that it was Ajay who paid him and not Karan.
