‘ABCD 2’ ollections jump to 63.33 cr by day 4; Varun thanks fans for love and support

Remo D’Souza directed ‘ABCD 2’ which had a record breaking opening by raking in a total of 14.30 crore to take the top position as the biggest opener of 2015, did an excellent business of Rs 63.33 crore, including the collections of overseas market by the fourth day of its release.

The lead actor of the dance based film Varun Dhawan took to Twitter to thank his fans for their love and support. “Hopefully all of you and your families enjoyed the film. I specially hope all the baachas (children) did because I did this film for the kids. Thank you so much. You guys have given me and my team so much love and respect. I can't believe #abcd2 is over,” the actor posted.

Varun plays the role of Suresh, a dancer in the film, also said it was time to move on to the next step. “There is always a child inside all of us #abcd2. It's time to say bye to Suresh but don't worry life is all about the next step," he tweeted.

Besides Varun, the film also stars Shraddha Kapoor and Prabhudeva in the lead roles. Dancers from various reality shows including Dharmesh Yelande, Lauren Gottlieb, Raghav Juyal and Punit Pathak appear in supporting roles. ‘ABCD 2’ is the sequel to the blockbuster film of 2011 ‘ABCD: Any Body Can Dance’ which also featured Prabhudev and some of the other supporting casts.
