Aamir, Salman at 'Heropanti' success bash
The makers of ‘Heropanti’ had high hopes for the film and so did its stars. After months of anticipation the film finally made its way to the theaters. Even if the film has not got a phenomenal response, it is doing decent business at the box office. Therefore a bash was held recently to celebrate the hard work of the cast and crew of the film. Since Jackie Shroff is a veteran of the industry, several Bollywood big shots also attended the event to cheer on his son Tiger Shroff (born Jai Shroff) for his future endeavors. The lead pair of the film Tiger and Kriti had a good time around the stars. Earlier in the day they also visited the Babulnath temple and prayed to Lord Shiva. The devotees present at the temple seemed to recognize the two actors which surely is an encouraging sign for them.
Tiger’s whole family, his father Jackie, mother Ayesha and sister Krishna was present at the party. The celebrity brigade at the party was led by Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. Salman and Aamir both were seen posing for photographers along with Tiger and Kriti. Tiger has been marked by members of the film fraternity as someone with a lot of potential. The other debutant Kriti also received praise from guests at the party and Salman especially seemed quite impressed by the lady.
Apart from the two Khans, several of Jackie’s close friends from the industry were seen at the success bash including Suniel Shetty, Danny Denzongpa, Poonam Dhillon and Raveena Tandon. Raveena stood out from the crowd as she looked stunning in a black outfit. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and Director Sabbir Khan were also there and both looked happy with the way things have been going so far. Sajid Nadiadwala was among the first people in the industry who spoke about Tiger’s potential and pointed out his dancing and athletic ability.
From its release on Friday till Sunday, ‘Heropanti’ has
collected more than 21 Crore at the box-office. The figure is quite respectable
given the fact that a film like 'Kochadaiiyaan' is also running at the same
time. Co-incidentally Tiger’s father Jackie is part of the film
'Kochadaiiyaan'. Tiger was asked by the reporters about this apparent
competition between him and his father. He said, "How do I react to this
so-called competition between the father and son? I feel sorry for the father
for coming on the same day as the son's film."
