"Aamir Mamu is Pappu," Imran

Pappu can’t dance. First it was referred to Salman Khan but Aamir and Imran Khan later denied that the disguised figure, Pappu is not Salman but someone else. At last, the debutante actor Imran Khan has divulged the name during the show at a popular radio station. Finally, when the radio jockey asked him who the mysterious Pappu was, Imran said, "That’s Aamir Maamu." Imran was at the radio station for promotional activity and there he joined in a competition with the attendees and won a prize money of 1 lakh. He donated the winning amount to the Saraswati Trust supported by his Aamir Mamu.

Speaking about the intensity and the stage of tension, Imran said, "On the day of the premiere, you are worried if everything will be okay and the stars will come. However, on the day of release, the tension is worse as you really hope audiences will like your film."
 
Aamir in all possible ways promoted his nephew’s debut film Jaane tu Ya Jaane Na and arranged a gala premiere. It has Genelia D’Souza in the female lead role.
