Aamir, Kiran hold screening of Peepli [Live]

Peepli [Live] is Aamir Khan’s next release and he along with his wife Kiran Rao held a special screening where Bollywood’s who’s who graced the event. The guests include Deepika Padukone, Rajkumar Hirani, Shruti Seth, Kangna Ranaut, Atul Agnihotri, Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukerji. Salman Khan turned up with his Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha. Juhi Chawla took time out from nursing her brother to stand by Aamir’s side. Aziz Mirza was also seen after a long time. Ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also arrived with his wife Anjali.
Peepli Live tells the story of rural India. It is about farmer’s suicide and shows the role media and politicians. The film is slated for August 13 release. Directed and written by Anusha Rizvi, the film stars Omkar Das Manikpuri, Raghubir Yadav, Malaika Shenoy and many others.
The script and the music have already won many hearts.
