Aamir Khan’s ‘Talaash’ crosses 100 crore mark
Aamir Khan’s latest release ‘Talaash’ enters 100 crore mark. The film has earned Rs 131.78 crore which is the sum of both international and domestic collection. Directed by Reema Kagti and co-produced by Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertaiment and Aamir Khan Productions, the thriller earned Rs 83.38 at the domestic box-office in just 13 days. Though after the release of ‘Talaash’, many films hit the marquee, Talassh business did no affect at all.
The film continued to do well at the box-office. The film collected 46.40 at the overseas market. Opened with a positive review, the film got thumps-up from audience. The script of ‘Talaash’ spelled magic and the movie done exceptional business in India as well as overseas market.
Featuring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor in the pivotal role, the film was released across 2,500 theatres on November 30th. It was made on a budget of 40 crores and its satellite rights were sold for Rs 40 crore. The film has become the fastest to enter 100 crore club in just 13 days.
After the film success, a grand bash was thrown by the makers which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood.
