Aamir Khan’s replica installed
Aamir Khan has some bindings and maintains some strict principles. For instance, he doesn’t accept some sort of filmfare awards, he does not attend all categories of parties and he even turned down the proposal of getting waxed at Madame Tussauds in London. But when it comes promoting his film, he crosses all barriers and leaves no stone unturned. Though he doesn’t like the idea of getting waxed, he willingly accepted to get a replica of his Ghajini look. About 50 statues of Aamir has been sculptured and installed in many multiplexes across the country.
Sculptor Nitin Gorde has been given the task of making his clone, he said, "We actually tried out a clay mask on Aamir himself, because of which he couldn't breathe naturally for almost 10 minutes. He has a crooked nose and big ears, which were slightly complicated but Aamir was ready to dedicate all his time."
"When this offer came from Aamir Khan, we were not just excited but realized that it is going to be a huge challenge, considering the perfectionist he is. It's a lifetime experience for us," Nitin added.
On the eve of Christmas, the faith of Aamir Khan’s Ghajini will be decided. Hope Aamir shines bright with Ghajini too.
