Aamir Khan postponed ‘Dhoom 3’ shooting
Perfectionist Aamir Khan pushed back the ‘Dhoom 3’ shooting schedule due to some reasons. The December and January schedule has been postponed to the end of February 2013. The reason for the delay is said to be Aamir’s perfectionist outlook. The scene requires some dare-devil stunts and Aamir wants some training to get it perfectly right.
A source informed that Aamir needed to rehearse for his action scenes and so the shooting has been pushed back. Another source close to the project says, “The ten-day December schedule from 7th to 17th was postponed because Aamir needed to promote ‘Talaash’.”
However, Yashraj spokesperson gave Aamir the sufficient time he needs for ‘Talaash’ promotion.
Stating that the next schedule of ‘Dhoom 3? would occur “post-Talaash” the YRF spokesperson says, “As a norm we do appreciate an artiste’s unavailability for our project during another film’s promotion and that was built into our schedule.
However, another source reveals that there are some technical reasons why ‘Dhoom 3’ shooting has been pushed back.
Explains the source, “The requirement for the next schedule is a mammoth studio floor, of the kind where no Hindi film has ever been shot before, to shoot some international-level action sequences. The idea was to accommodate the spatial requirement in Yashraj studios. But not even the most spacious floor at Yashraj Studios could accommodate the expanse stretch and height required to shoot those scenes.”
The release date of the film has not yet been decided.
“There’s no fix yet on where these scenes would be shot. It would depend entirely on where the director Vijay Krishna Acharya gets the studio space needed for the stunts he has devised. The matter would be sorted soon. The release date would be decided only after the last two schedules are completed.”
