Aamir Khan joins Instagram, shares photo with wife Kiran
‘Mr. Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan has reached a level of popularity where even his smallest actions make the news. The actor has recently joined the popular photo sharing social networking site, Instagram. Aamir is known to prefer substantial interaction and exchange with his fans. He was already a part of Facebook and Twitter. Now fans can expect to see more of the star in different moods and moments. In Instagram Aamir joins fellow celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Yuvraj Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham and more.
So far Aamir has posted only two photos in his account but both are quite impactful. One photo shows Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao and the description says ‘My wife, my life and my everything’. The actor is seen in a light beard while Kiran is looking very pretty in the photo. In the second photo Aamir is seen with a group of children. With this photo Aamir wrote, "No time for tweeting, just time for posting my pictures in small boxes which represent my daily days. Good morning!" Even outside of his films, Aamir has always been an interesting person. His commitment towards social causes is very well known. Some of his views even sparked political controversy but he has overcome them. His public service campaigns and social issue based reality show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is extremely popular. Election Commission of India also made him one of their ambassadors to promote awareness about voting. It is clear that Aamir will have a large following on Instagram just like on Twitter and Facebook.
On the professional front the actor is now busy with the film ‘P.K.’. Going by his practice of one film a year, the film is expected to release December of this year. There is very little information available about the film. The only hint comes from the director Rajkumar Hirani who has stated that the film will be a satire about "Hindu Gods and their god men”. Religion is a very sensitive subject in India and it will be interesting to see how the film handles this subject. Already there has been a controversy while the shooting of the film was going on in Delhi. An FIR was lodged by some local religious groups who objected to a scene where a man dressed as a Hindu deity pulls a rickshaw with two women in burqua (Islamic headgear). ‘P.K.’ also stars Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput and Sanjay Dutt.
