Aamir is like a child on the set, Abhishek Bachchan
This is the first time that Aamir Khan is playing the negative lead in a movie, the movie being ‘Dhoom 3’. This is the third installment in the Dhoom franchise, and it is supposedly going to be bigger and better.
His Co-actors, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra are all praise for him. When asked about Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan was quoted saying, “It's absolutely brilliant to be working with Aamir. You get to learn so much. He is so much fun on the sets. He is like a child on the set; he is so involved and enthusiastic about everything.”
And, when asked about the relationship that he shares with Aamir Khan, he was heard saying, “I think every actor learns from other. As an actor you feed off the energies of each-other. I see my father still learning from a lot more junior actors than him. So I think as an actor you learn from everybody and you should.”
With a perfectionist like Aamir Khan, there is bound to be a lot of positive energy on the sets. Looks like Abhishek Bachchan is hell bent on getting that perfectionist tag. At a recent award function where he was performing, to ensure that he got the act correct, he would come on time for rehearsals with added energy and would continue to rehearse till his performance was flawless. On the technical rehearsal day, he even volunteered to give that extra time. His act was to show him enter on an aerial prop which he feared, but his determination helped him overcome the fear.
This is the third time that Abhishek Bachchan will be essaying the character of ACP Jai Dixit, and he is extremely excited to be re-enacting his character once again. He does not find it boring, rather is motivated to do it in a different manner once again, so that the audiences do not reflect back on the previous versions of the same movie. He is determined to make it look different and as interesting as possible.
Uday Chopra, who is reportedly good friends with Abhishek Bachchan off screen as well, thoroughly enjoyed shooting for this movie. In the first installment, John Abraham was cast as the antagonist while in the second one, it was Hrithik Roshan. For the sequel of ‘Dostana’, Abhishek Bachchan is going to be seen again with John Abraham, but this time there will be another leading lady.
