Aamir Khan glad about Shahrukh – Salman hug
A few days ago, Shahrukh and Salman met each other at an Iftaar party. They both shook hands and hugged each other. This story of the two big khans of industry got viral, with industry people talking about it. Shahrukh Khan also had a long chat with writer and father of Salman Khan, Salim Khan at the Iftaar party.
The third big Khan of Bollywood, Aamir Khan, has expressed his happiness on the sprouting friendship of Shahrukh and Salman. Aamir arrived at the premiere of ‘Issaq’ on 25th July. The premiere was held in Mumbai. Talking about the much talked about hug between the two Khans, Aamir said, “Jab dosti hoti hai, aur log gale milte hai to acchi baat hai. Mujhe bahut khushi hoti hai. Aur mujhe badi khushi hai (when friendships are struck and people hug each other, it’s a good thing. It makes me very happy. I am very pleased (about the hug).”
Aamir was aware of the fight between Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan that came up at the birthday party of Katrina in 2008. Even Aamir was present at that party.
Shahrukh Khan also arrived at the same premiere. But Aamir and Shahrukh could not meet each other as they arrived at the venue at different times. An onlooker said, “Shah Rukh turned up at around 12.45 in the morning but Aamir had left by then. Aamir came in at around 10.30 pm.”
Since Shahrukh arrived quite late, the makers of ‘Issaq’ played the movie all over again at one of the screens especially for Shahrukh Khan. An insider said, “By then, almost all the screenings were over but they played it again especially for him,” adds the insider.
Aamir was seen at the premiere of ‘Issaq’ in a chilled out mood. He was wearing a black tee and a pair of blue denims. He was holding his cell phone and his glasses in his hands all through the evening. Aamir praised the movie ‘Issaq’. Shahrukh Khan, on the contrary, arrived at the premiere, all decked up in a three piece suit. The suit though had a casual appeal. It was a mix and match three piece suit.Though the promotion of ‘Issaq’ was low key, many celebrities attended the screening. Among them, some of the big names are Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Abbas-Mustan, Evelyn Sharma, Ravi Kishan, Jhonny Lever, Preeti Jhangiani, Sasha Agha, Swara Bhasar, Amyra Dastur and Prateik Babbar.
