‘A Flying Jatt’ trailer: Tiger Shroff is an acrophobic superhero

The makers of ‘A Flying Jatt’ starring Tiger Shroff, released the trailer of the film today, July 18. The film also stars retired professional wrestler-turned-actor Nathan Jones as the main villain. The seven-feet-tall actor has featured in Hollywood films like Mad Max: Fury Road’, ‘Conan the Barbarian’ and ‘Troy’ among others.

Directed by choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo D'Souza and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures, the superhero flick also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Kay Kay Menon and Amrita Singh.

The little-less-than-three-minute trailer reveals that Tiger is born with superpowers, but he becomes a superhero only after facing difficulties, injuries and some embarrassing situations.

The trailer begins with some comic scenes where Tiger tries to rescue a child from a burning house, but ends up injuring himself. He crashes into a police jeep and gets his cape entangled in it. He is chased by dogs, frightens a lady who sprays pepper into his eyes and policemen ask him what kind of outfit he is wearing. He is seen using his powers to woo his ladylove Jacqueline, while his mother, played by Amrita, constantly nags him for his stupidity and irresponsibility.

It is only when Kay Kay Menon and Nathan Jones join hands to unleash terror on the world and beat him to pulp that Tiger realises the worth of his powers and trains hard and fights the enemies on land, sky, underwater and even on the Moon. He becomes ‘Mujrimo ka dushmaan, garibo ka dost’, but fights evil while juggling with household jobs like cleaning cobwebs and others as assigned by his mother.

The trailer some cool dance moves and fantastic action scenes and a lot of amazing visual effects. It seems to be a good mix of romance, comedy and action.

‘A Flying Jatt’ is slated to hit screens on August 25.
