Priyanka Chopra beats item girls Katrina, Kareena

Priyanka Chopra is going great guns in her professional life. Apart from bagging best actress award for her stupendous performance in some of her recent movies over the years, she is all set to score sixer with her first item number which goes as 'Babli Badmaash Hai'. She has recently shot for the song 'Babli Badmaash hai' for Sanjay Gupta's ‘Shootout at Wadala’. Priyanka has been reportedly paid Rs 2.8 crores for her debut item number.

With this whopping amount, she has pushed behind item girls Malaika Arora (Munni), Katrina Kaif (Sheila) and ‘Fevicol Se' Kareena Kapoor. Now Babli Priyanka is on the high. She will be doing some sexy latkas and jhatkas in a song composed by Anu Malik and is said to be a retro song inspired from 70s club music.

Chief executive officer of Balaji Telefilms, Tanuj Garg, confirmed that Priyanka Chopra has been paid Rs 2.8 crores for the song and the amount paid to her is all worthy, as the song is going to be one of its kind.

The song will include some important aspect of the movie and hence the makers are ready to spend any amount for it. It will be more than an item song.

Priyanka took personal interest on the song. She listened to about 11 tracks and eight variations of the song before saying yes to the final one.

Now, Priyanka has shot for the song and she is quite happy about the number. The song has been choreographed by Ahmed Khan and she will be seen in desi avatar. She will promote the movie along with the lead actors before the film release on May 1.

‘Shootout at Wadala’ stars Sanjay Dutt, John Abraham, Kangana Ranaut, Anil Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Sonu Sood. In the film, John plays underworld goon Manya Surve.
