Star kids joining the profession of their parents are widely noticed. Interest brewed on them as they see from childhood how their parents are inclined to acting. Glitz and glamour of Bollywood drag them to the world of stars. They developed their interest in acting as they followed their parents to shooting from early days. Light, camera and action are the three works that echoed in their ears since they were kids. As they saw the colors of tinselville, they couldn't resist their temptation to become actors. Sooner or later, they adopted acting and became an inseparable part of the glamour world of filmdom. Following the footsteps of their parents, some achieve success, while others fail to establish their name in this competitive world of Bollywood and are lost in the darkness. Here are some star kids who are doing exceptionally well in acting and carrying the legacy of their parents forward.
Sanjay Dutt - The son of legendary actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis, popularly known as Sanju Baba. He stepped into Bollywood in 1980 with Rocky which did a tremendous business at the box office. People accepted him as an actor and very soon he made a place in their heart. Khalnayak, Saajan, Munnabhai MBBS are some of the hit films that belongs to his credit. He has seen many ups and downs in his personal life but professionally he achieved a lot and at the same time he deserves much more.
Esha Deol - Being a daughter of well known actress and dancer Hema Malini and actor Dharmendra, acting flows in her blood. She has made her foray into acting with Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche. The film went unnoticed but Esha received acceptance from the public. Offers poured her way and she worked in hit films like Yuva, Dhoom, Kaal, LOC Kargil and the list goes on.
Sunny Deol - The son of Garam Dharam Dharmendra. He ventured into Bollywood with film Betaab opposite Amrita Singh. After the success of his first film, he did not have to see back. Gadar - Ek Prem Katha, Ghayal, Damini, Darr, Tridev, Border are some of the good films he worked in. He is basically a rough and tough Punjabi munda, little weak in dancing but excels in the action department. Sunny also tried his hand into direction and directed Dillagi. His brother Bobby Deol also made a mark in acting.
Kajol - Daughter of beautiful Tanuja and late Shomu Mukherjee. Since she hailed from filmy background, acting was in her mind from childhood. She portrays every role with ease. She excels in every department of acting. Kajol did not have to struggle more to achieve success and after her first failure Bekhudi, success touched her feet from her second flick Baazigar. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Ishq, Fanaa, Pyar Toh Hona Hi Tha are some of the hit films which are considered to be milestones.
Akshaye Khanna - Son of famous actor Vinod Khanna. He ventured into film with Himalaya Putra. Border, Taal, Dil Chahata Hai, Humraaz, Race are some of his hits films that he is associates with.
Kareena Kapoor - She hailed from a family where acting is a heritage. Her parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita, her grandfather and great grandfather made a mark in this field and now she is proudly carrying the tradition of her family forward. She made her debut with J.P Dutta’s Refugee and worked in hit films like Ajnabee, LOC Kargil, Omkara, Jab We Met.
Saif Ali Khan - Popularly known as Chotte Nawab as he belongs to a royal family. He is the son of famous cricketer Nawab Mansoor Ali Pataudi and beautiful actress Sharmila Tagore. He chose his mother’s profession and entered into Bollywood in 1990. His fist film was Parampara and unfortunately it failed and Saif had to struggle several years to shine as a hit solo actor. Finally, his talent was recognized in films like Kaache Dhage, Dil Chahata Hai, LOC Kargil, Kya Kehna, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Hum Tum, Pareenita, Salaam Namaste, Race and today he is one of the most demanding actors.
Abhishek Bachchan - Proud son of legendry actor Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Though both father and mother are well-known actors, acting was not easy for Abhishek. In the initial stage, he had to see the face of failure but gradually he improved and showed his talent in Guru, Sarkar, Dhoom 2.
Hrithik Roshan - Unlike his father Rakesh Roshan, he excels in every department of acting. He is stylish and dynamic. He has many female fans following for his dancing and acting. His first film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai was a blockbuster and Hrithik successfully ruled the heart of millions.
Ranbir Kapoor - Last but not the least. He is the new talent and showed his acting potential in his first film Saawariya. Son of popular star Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir is the new heartthrob of Bollywood and possess bountiful of film and advertisements.
