Bhatt camp believes in delivering soothing music and their past record proves that never let down their audience and always surprises them with some refreshing music. Their combination with Emraan Hashmi always clicked at the box-office as well as in the musical chartbuster. ‘Raaz’ was a musical bonanza. The film not only rocked at the box-office but the music of the movie also took the box-office with storm.
But on the other side, there are proofs that sequels never get good remarks from the music-goers. But the Bhatts are keeping their fingers crossed to break the taboo. The movie has six songs penned by Sanjay Masoomm and Kumaar, the music composed by Jeet Ganguly and the songs are crooned by some talented singers.
The album opens with the song, ‘Deewana Kar Raha Hai’ crooned by Javed Ali. It has a sufi touch. The Bhatts have an inclination to Arabic music and if we go though their past records, we will find that Sufi track always has a special place in their movies. The song be ranked as the best but it is pleasing to hear.
The second track goes as ‘Rafta Rafta’ crooned by KK. Flute and guitar is the prominent instrument being used here. The song is nothing extraordinary and better than ‘Deewana..’ it is a slow song very soothing to the ear. KK’s voice captivates mind and ear.
‘Rafta Rafta’ is followed by the track ‘Zindagi Se’ sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali. The song is very refreshing and Shafqat’s voice is comforting, it touches out heart and mind immediately. Masoom’s well-penned lyrics, Jeet Ganguly’s composition and Shafqat’s voive has really done wonder.
The fourth track goes as 'Oh my love' it is a Hinglish (Hindi-English) romantic number sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghosal. Immense love flows in the song and this is the first love number in the movie. The song is touchy and cozy too. Electric guitars and keyboards are the key instruments used here.
Next in the row is ‘Khayalon Mein’ sung by Shreya Ghosal. It is a cheerful song, very lively and provides never ending happiness. It cheers up the listeners.
Lat but not the least is ‘Kya Raaz 3hai’. It is the title track of the movie sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Zubben Garg. Both complement each other and done a decent job. Despite all the ingredients, the song failed to impress the listeners.
In the nutshell, ‘Raaz 3’ is a blend of good and not so good music. The music
won’t help to give the movie a boost. Hope, the audience like the film slated
to release on September 7th.
