 Along with strong story line and powerful star cast, music also plays a crucial role in uplifting the career and future of a those debutantes who grew up to become an actor and among them is Harman Baweja who dreamt of becoming actor from his childhood days. Undoubtedly, his father Harry Baweja has left no stone unturned to make his son sing and dance to some soothing and melodious music. With so many talented music directors in the market, Harry has picked up Anu Malik. Though Anu carries a black spot of lifting others music, one’s you go through his graph then you will get an idea that he is the man who has given some mind-blowing chartbusters in the past.
Looking at the promo and reading about it, everybody knows that Love Story 2050 is a science fiction flick with numerous technical elements associated with it. So, its music also needs to be techno friendly. Anu has used many variations and incorporated various notes to give a different feeling to the sounds tracks and to some extent he has become successful in his endeavor. He incorporated some romantic moods in it and at the same time includes disco and fast dance numbers. There are altogether seven sound track each diverse in feeling and approach. We take you to the sea of sound and music. Since, Harman Baweja is making his debut with this film, so an introductory song is a must. Keeping this point in view, Anu has framed the song that goes Aa Gaya Hun Mein sung by Kay Kay. It is a stage song undoubtedly danced by Harman but Kay Kay who is known for his powerful singing had sound bit dull in this dance number. But surely, Harman's dance will compensate the missing element. Verdict – The song is average to hear. Now coming to the second track of the film, Hey You Lover Boy, Anu Malik has made Alisha Chinai to hold the mike. Expectation from her is high as recently, she has entertained the audience with some thrilling numbers like Kajrare and Dil Ko Hazar Bar from Murder. This song is of Alisha’s type and it has some western lyrics along with Indian. Alisha has as usually played her part well. It is another dance number, amusing and good to hear. Verdict – The song is pleasant to hear. As the film has a real life love couple, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja so how can romance be missing from it. Mausam Achanak Ye Badala Kyu is a romantic song sung by versatile singer Shaan and melody queen Alka Yagnik. The song is lively and has a feeling of togetherness. Its lyric is strong enough to attract one’s mind and sounds quite blissful in the tune of Shaan and Alka. Verdict – Romantic. Coming to the most popular song of the album, Milo Na Milo, this song is popular in the sense that it has been used for the promotional purpose and is being aired on every channel. In the true sense, the song is unique because it starts with a dialogue by Priyanka and Harman. Crooned by Shaan, the song is absolutely relaxing to hear. It is a perfect blend of western and Indian music. Verdict – Up to the mark. Another good number is Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla crooned by Kay Kay. The song has two versions. One is sad and the other is happy. In the happier version, he is joined by Alka Yagnik and undoubtedly when two fabulous singers go back of the mike the result is bound to be praise worthy. The sad version falls before the happy version. The happier version is lengthier than the sad track. Verdict – Enjoyable to hear. Sach Kehna Sach Kehna by Kunal Ganjawala is another peppy number filled with full of youthfulness. It may not be up to the mark of Bhege Hoth of Murder but the album has an appealing factor. The song sounds that the guy is trying to woo his girl. Vedict- Fantastic. Now here comes the title song of Love Story 2050, Jane Kaisi Hai Teri Meri Love Story by Shaan at his best. He has given more than what’s been expected from him. Both the sad and happy version will mesmerize the audience when it is being played. The song will lure the song lover to purchase the album. Verdict – Best of all. By and large, the song of Love Story 2050 is impressive and song numbers like Mausam Achanak Ye Badala Kyu, Milo Na Milo, Meelon Ka Jaisa Tha Fasla, Sach Kehna Sach Kehna, Jane Kaisi Hai Teri Meri Love Story will keep the album in the top of the chartbusters. Few songs are below the mark but most of them are pleasing. The outcome of Javed Akhtar lyrics and Anu Malik’s music is creditable and worth hearing.
