Alka Yagnik has given soul-stirring performance, reminding us of all-time favorite patriotic song 'Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo' sung by the singing legend Lata Mangeshkar.
'Pyar Bhara Geet' is a colorful romantic duet sung delightfully by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal. Sonu's magical voice is the icing on the cake. His voice sprinkles fragrance in the air. Shreya Ghoshal, the singing sensation of the year, has matured into a playback singer. Her chirpy voice adds sugar'n'spice to the flavor.
'Khush rahena' is a tragical journey into the heart of a soldier who expresses his immense love and passion for his motherland and pacifies his nears and dears about his return. A brave lion hearted soldier mourns for his martyr colleague too. This is certainly the best composition of the album - 'Ek Saathi Aur Bhi Tha', a painfully tragic patriotic composition sung melodiously by Sonu Nigam. The song encapsulates the bloodshed and gory death instances. The song reminds of 'Kar Chale Hum' the ever-hummable patriotic song from Bollywood's first and possibly best war movies. Sonu Nigam's tragical voice has the shades of late Mohd. Rafi. Anu Malik presents one of the best compositions, which will be remembered for years.
Alka Yagnik, the reigning nightingale of Bollywood, proves her mettle with 'Seema Bulaye Tujhe', a melodious sentimental song sung in a pensive mood. 'Ek Saathi Aur Bhi Tha' is a tearjerker, brilliantly sung in the memory of martyrs by Sonu Nigam. Lyrics of Javed Akhtar are passionately patriotic. A beautiful album by the finest talents we have!
