Krazzy 4

Krazzy 4 is a Rakesh Roshan’s film and so lots been expected from the music of the film. Along with the story, he usually puts up lot of effort to make the music melodious and soothing to the ear. As usual, maximum number of music has been composed by his in-house composer Rajesh Roshan. Rakesh Roshan always experiment with different types of music and this time also he has done the same. The result is good and the songs came out beautifully. It has the capability to attract the audience.

Krazzy 4 is a comedy flick comprising of some of the talented actors like Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Irrfan khan and Juhi Chawla who excels in the comedy department. The film will definitely make the audience go crazy. The item number of Rakhi Sawant, Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan is the x factor of the movie and for the trio the movie is very much in news. The lyrics of the songs have been written by Asif Ali Beg and Javed Akhtar. Most of the songs are sung twice with little changes here and there. Here is a gist of the songs of Krazzy 4.

Krazzy 4- Vishal Dadlani is basically a music composer but many a times he lends his voice to the songs that suits his voice. It is the title track of the movie and so lots of effort has been given to it. The lyrics have been penned by Asif Ali Beg. The song is picturised on Shahrukh Khan and it a peppy number. It has the capability to make the audience get up and jive to the song.

Krazzy 4 (Club Remix Version) - The song has been crooned by DJ Aqeel. He has been a master in remixing version. It is similar to the original track of Krazzy 4 but western musical instruments influence is very high in the song. The lyric is almost the same with the original one with some minute changes. Only the employment of the instruments makes the song little different from the original track.

Dekhta Hai Tu Kya-The song has been crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan and Kirti Sagathia and the lyric is penned by Javed Akhtar. The song has an Indian regional flavor with westernized instrument. It starts with English tapping but suddenly changes into folk version. The song sounds quite interesting and since it is picturized on Rakhi Sawant, it is a highly awaited song among the audience. It is another dancing number and has the capacity of making one dance to its music.

Dekhta Hai Tu Kya (Remix Version) – The remix version is again crooned by Sunidhi Chauhan and Kirti Sagathia. The lyric is almost similar to the original one but there is a high application of various instruments and it is equally effective as the original one.

Break Free –Break Free is totally a Hrithik number. The song has been sung by Vishal Dadlani. It is short and almost similar to the title track of Krazzy 4. It is another disco and pub number. On hearing it, one cannot stop from tapping his feet. The song has the capacity to charge up the whole environment.

Break Free (Remix) – The lyrics is almost similar to the original one but some more beats have been inserted in it. It is again sung by Vishal Dadlani.

O Re Lakad – The lyrics of the song has been penned by Javed Akhtar and the song has been crooned by Kailash Kher, Sowmya Raoh and Neeraj Shridhar. It has a countryside touch. It tells about harmony and peace.

Ik Rupiya – It sounds situational, good to hear. But it cannot appeal the mass to hear it over and again. Since, it is a comedy flick, it includes lots of humor. The song has been sung by Sudesh Bhosle, Labh Jajua, Rahul Vaidya, Kirti Sagathia, Jimmy Moses and Bhavin Dhanak. Though a good number of singers have crooned the song but it does not have a mass appeal.

Jan Gan Man – The album concludes with a patriotic song sung by Ankita Sachdeva. The song is a tribute to the motherland.

We may conclude that the nine songs of Krazzy 4 are average to hear and Rakesh Roshan has done some experiments with the lyrics, singers and the music. If one compares Rakesh Roshan’s earlier movies with Krazzy 4, they will find some lacking in his passion and dedication towards the music. Shahrukh, Hrithik and Rakhi Sawant’s item number can divert the attention of the audience from the audio to the video.
