As big names like TIPS, UTV, Aziz Mirza, Pritam are associated with it, the expectation is sky high. Aziz Mirza has chosen Pritam to compose the music of this hyped film on looking at his popularity chart. The music of Kismat Konnection is hatke and somewhat westernized. The music is mostly made on fast track and it is framed keeping in mind the taste of the new generation. The album is quite trendy.

Multiple singers like Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Hard Kaur, Sonu Nigam, Mohit Chauhan, Alka Yagnik, Aslam, Akruti Kakkar, Neeraj Shridhar have been roped in to croon for Kismat Konnection. Versatility is the uniqueness of this album and we hope that Kismat Konnection may successfully connect to the heart and soul of the audience and the album may compel one to listen time and again.

The album opens with Aai Paapi (Tu Hai Meri Soniye). It is a peppy number and full of youthfulness is imbibed in it. It is a total AR Rehman stuff and Neeraj Shridhar has lend his voice. No sooner, you click the start button; the music will take you to the dance floor. The video is expected to be much more thrilling as fabulous dancer like Shahid Kapoor will tap his feet to this exciting number. Western beats are incorporated in it to make the song much more thundering. It is a warm up song and will set the dance floor on fire. It is touted as the title song of the film as the word Kismat Konnection been incorporated in it.

The second track of the film is Bakhuda Tumhi Ho. This time versatile singer Alka Yagnik and melodious Atif Aslam took hold of the mike. The combination of the two unique singers is a treat for the ears. Atif Aslam who has mesmerized the audience with Tumse Hi – Jab We Met is again back to refresh the mood of the music lovers. The song will sooth your ear to some extent and the exotic locales and catchy picturization will be an added attraction. Lyrics by Sayeed Quadri are exceptionally well. The song is situational and it expressed more or less the feelings of the male protagonist and so Atif will get more scope to express himself than Alka.

The third track of the film is Soniye Ve written by Shabbir Ahmed and two most dynamic singers Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan has been assigned to hold the mike. It has a bhangra flavor and the song has loads of energy and thrill. Shahid had very well handled the Punjabi song Nagara Nagara in Jab We Met and he is again expected to hypnotize the audience with this Punjabi song. The track sounds good but it is below par excellence.

Shaan, Hard Kaur and Akruti Kakkar have come together to croon for Move Your Body Now. The song is yet another rocking number and while listening to it, you will feel like tapping your feet. This song has both western and Indian beats. It is fun to hear and it has all the positivity to make to the chartbusters.

Is This Love (Kahin Na Laage) is a romantic song written by Sayeed Quadri and sung melodiously by Shreya Ghoshal. Singer Mohit Chouhan gave her the company. It is a blissful song and adds to the romanticism of your mind. Here the main two protagonists of the film expressed their love for each other. The song sounds blissful and has the thrill to hear repeatedly.

On the whole, the songs of Kismat Konnection can be ranked above average. Songs like Aai Paapi and Move Your Body Now could entice you to purchase the album but other songs would try to divert your mind from purchasing it. Time will say whether it will make to the best selling album like Jannat and Race.
