The music of “Himmatwala” takes us back to the 80s, literally! Having kept two songs from the tracks of the 1983 starrer, the other songs of the album have been composed keeping the entertainment factor in mind. So you will be in for the nostalgic mood as the dance moves, the outfits, as all of it has been done keeping the original and its fun quotient in mind. The original music was composed by Bappi Lahiri, and it was a super hit. And the task for the new “Himmatwala” was handed over to the hit Jodi, Sajid Wajid, who have been known to create the best possible masala music.

Let’s get back to the retro mode and go through the music which promises to be as entertaining as the original tracks.

“Nainon Mein Sapna”

Singer: Amit Kumar, Shreya Ghoshal

Composer: Sajid Wajid

Well, this song has been kept back from the original. When it hit the mark, it was already popular. They have recreated the magic, and hence the song is already a hit with the masses.

 “Taki Taki”

Singer: Mika Singh, Shreya Ghoshal

Composer: Sajid Wajid

Even this one has been recreated from the original album. It has been done in such a way that the charm of the original has been kept alive. A very addictive dance number, this one has been on the playlist of many.

“Dhoka Dhoka”

Singer: Bappi Lahiri, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mamta Sharma

Composer: Sajid Wajid

One of the original compositions, this one again is a sure shot chart buster. The lyrics are the USP of this track, penned by Sameer Anjaan. Mamta Sharma, who has been the flavor of this season, has done it once again with this song. Her rendition of it is absolutely beautiful.

“Bum Pe Laat”

Singer: Shaan, Soham and Shubh Mukherjee

Composer: Sajid Wajid

Firstly, it is a situational song. Secondly, the composers have drawn inspiration from Helen’s classic dance number, ‘Mera Naam Chin Chin Choo’. It is a song which will mainly appeal to Ajay Devgn’s little audiences, because it shows the bad guys bullying everyone, and how you should not fear them.

“Thank God Its Friday”

Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan

Composer: Sachin Jigar

Disco song! Sajid Khan Movie, there had to be some item song in it. Sonakshi Sinha has been spotted grooving to this one, and has been sizzling in it, aka, Helen style.

All in all, the music promises to be as paisa vasool as the movie itself.
