The combination of tabla and harmonium is quite fascinating and it will take one to a different world. Lyricist Prasoon Joshi scores high here.

The title track ‘Delhi 6’ sung by bunch of singers like Blaaze, Benny, Viviane, Tanvi and Claire is quite captivating. It is a rap number and once it is played, you will feel like grooving with the song. The pubs and discos numbers will add with Delhi 6.

Rahman himself took hold of the mike for ‘Rehna Tu’. He is outstanding in the song and it catches the mood of the listeners at instance. It has western feel and it mesmerizes your body and soul. Full credit goes to Rahman. He is outstanding in the song and entices one to hear number of times.

‘Hey Kaala Bandar’ has some weird English and Hindi lyrics mixed together. The lyric sounds bizarre and let’s see how it turns up by Karthik, Naresh Srinivas, and Bony Chakravorty. Here Prasoon Joshi has done some experiments with the lyrics.

Rahman was at his romantic musical best at ‘Dil Gira Dafatan’, it’s a song to cherish for the lifetime. It can be considered a perfect dating song. Total romantic and will create the mood of the two who are in love. Singer Ash King took charge of the mike this time and his effort is excellent.

The next track that goes is ‘Genda Phool' based on folk music. Rekha Bharadwaj along with Shraddha Pandit and Sujata Majumdar lend their voice for this interesting song. Thos song is unique in every sense but whatever, it deserves full marks.

‘Bhor Bhaye’ by Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal is a bhagan. Purely devotional and classical based. The smell of rich culture and heritage of India can be felt. Instruments like tabla and harmonium is more prominent here.
