In the recent past, dynamic Vishal-Shekhar has seen many flops and in order to get rid of all those bad remarks, they are back with a dhamakadar music album. If it clicks then they would again able to establish their supremacy in Bollywood. Ranbir Kapoor has already been associated with a chartbuster like Saawariya and so expectation is high regarding his second offering. Same is the case of Deepika Padukone, her debut film Om Shanti Om is a super duper hit and its music has also hit the marquee. Vipul Shah’s Singh Is Kinng album has recently hit the market and so competition between the two will be much higher. People are waiting to see how Ranbir-Deepika grooves with Bachna Ae Haseena music and whether it would stand up to the mark of Race, Tashan, Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na, Jodhaa Akbar and Jannat. Yash Raj flick has seen many flops in recent period and their future prospect depends on the success of the film, not only the story idea should attract people but music also needs to play a great role in lifting up the latest Yash Raj flick. Bachna Ae Haseeno is the most anticipated film of the year and expectation from it is brightened. Many versatile singers like Shilpa Rao, KK, Sunidhi Chauhan, Raja Hassan, Lucky Ali, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukhwinder Singh, Himani Kapoor and Himesh Reshammiya has been roped to chant. Khuda Jaane – The album opens with Khuda Jaane, a touchy, romantic and emotional number. It will knock the door of one’s heart. KK and Shilpa Rao have crooned this romantic song. It is unique of its kind and sounds quite soulful. It’s a big opportunity for Shilpa to sing this number of Bachna Ae Haseeno. KK’s voice matches up quite well with Shilpa. Lyrics by Anvita Dutt Guptan catch the nerve of harmony. KK has again proved his versatility as a singer. The song possesses the excellence to make to the romantic numbers of Bollywood. It is highly recommended and entices you to hear repeatedly. Lucky Boy – Lucky Boy is a club number. As the song plays, you will feel like tapping your feet. The video would be a treat for the cine-goers as they would get to see their hot Ranbir Kapoor groove to this exciting number with sexy Bipasha Basu. Since Ranbir plays womanizer in the film, this song is an important element of the film. The song is associated with some western beats. Sunidhi Chauhan has lent her voice to it and accompanying her is Zee TV Sa Re Ga Ma Pa runners up Raja Hassan. Aahista Aahista – It is another peppy romantic number composed by Vishal-Shekhar and has a feel good effect. They had tried to input the same feeling of the romantic number ‘Tum Ko Dekha Hai To’ from Om Shanti Om in it. The unique blend of Lucky Ali and Shreya Ghoshal has turn out to be quite refreshing and at the same time makes you experience a difference. The song is soothing to the ears. It is another melodious song. Jogi Mahi – It is quite a thrilling and entertaining song. Most of the part has been sung by music composer Shekhar Ravijani but later he is joined by Sufi expert Sukhwinder Singh. Towards the end, female singer Himani Kapoor joined him. It is a foot tapping number and has a touch of regional song. Small Town Girl – Shankar Mahadevan has crooned this funny track and most probably it is picturized on Bipasha Basu. It has a Punjabi flavor and sounds like one is narrating the nature of the second main protagonist Bipasha Basu. He depicts the meaning as how a small town girl possesses the quality to woo men. The lyrics sounds bizarre and the song is above average to hear. Bachna Ae Haseeno – Much care has been taken by Vishal-Shekhar to compose this song as it is the title track of the film. Sumit Kumar has lent his voice to it and the outcome is fabulous. Vishal-Shekhar and Sumit had done a complimentary work. The song has the efficiency to make to the top list of viewers choice. In a nutshell, Bachna Ae Haseena album would be graded higher if some track were given some more concentration. The album is not good or bad but can be ranked somewhere in between them. If some days passed, we can measure its popularity. But it can be graded more than average and below top-notch.
