The Sippy´s are ready with their next, but this time it is not the Ramesh Sippy group. It is the producer-director team of father-son Romu Sippy – Raj Sippy making their return after quite some time. Makers of films like Satte Pe Satta, Inkaar, Andar Bahar, Mahadev, Boxer and Thanedar are coming back to the foray with what is another thriller – Woh.
Woh narrates the plight of an ordinary man who being in the wrong place at the wrong time, becomes a victim of circumstances and somehow, for no fault of his, gets entangles in the web of deceit and treachery. The film stars Priyanshu Chatterjee (who gave a sterling performance in Pinjar) and model-turned-actress Cleo Issacs
In search of a job, Priyanshu travels to a small town. He lands at a restaurant where to his surprise a stranger asks him whether he has come for a job. Priyanshu nods and sits down. The stranger pulls out one lakh rupees, a gun and a photograph! Priyanshu moves towards his target (Cleo Isaacs) but reveals all.
She tells him to keep the money. Priyanshu is elated. With one lakh rupees in his pocket he leaves the town singing happily. It is raining heavily but this does not deter the hero who wants to go home.
In the rain, a man crashes onto his jeep. Priyanshu is forced to return back to the same town. In the hospital he faces the head cop who is none other than the man who has ordered the killing. Noticing a couple of bullets in the man's body, the Head cop arrests Priyanshu.
What follows is a series of such bizarre incidents that gets our hero deeper and deeper in the web.
The music of the film is composed by Anand Raj Anand. Woh is slated to release in March.
